My SR v1 fork is bent, so i took it off and put my ol' reliable reinforced stock fork back on there. using the double clamp from the pro model i tightened it ebfore i went riding, and by the end of the day it was realllly loose, headset was really shaking. So the next day i set it all up how i wanted it again, but realllllly cranked down on the clamp. Made it realllly tight. by the end of the day it was loose again, but not as loose as before. Should i just add another single clamp to it or something? or is there some other thing i'm not doing right. I've never had this problem before.

btw, i have rad bars, and its a stock fork.

thanks for any help.

Threadless headset? If so, screw one of the nuts from the original headset onto the fork before you put the bars on.

If it's not the headset which is shaking, then it's the bars shaking on the forktube. Happened to me an year ago.

A longer forktube solves the problem.

Oh yeah. When i had my RADs i couldn't use them unless i reinforced them with a T tube sticking out a few inches, and it really had to be stuck in the fork.
