installing bearings...?

How does everyone put in their bearings? Theres lots of ways but I want to know which way is best... my bearings are always shot. Ive tried using a vice grip with both bearings in, hammering them in, and the axle with extra bearings trick... theres nowhere around me that installs bearings professionaly btw

Take two old bearing put one on the end of a bolt then good bearing then wheel then good bearing then bad bearing then washer then nut. After that I just tighten them until they both go in.

Thats what i do... I use a steel punch and hammer the outter ring in a circle... It fucks my bearings

Plus the key to get the bearings in the wheels straight every time is to have those proto ICS caps (or at least one cap) which i re-drilled from 6mm to 8mm, which Arco is using in his video above.

I get a bolt, stick an old bearing over it then the new one, the wheel, the spacer, new bearing, old bearing then nut and tighten it all together. Sorry for the set up it's late and I cba.

Where in New York? Any mechanic shop will have a bearing press but they may not have the time to do it right away.

If you are not satisfied with the axle, old bearing , nut and bolt trick then you should buy a bearing press.

Harbor freight has them for pretty cheap
