What are the pros and cons of integrated??

Umm. Pros:

-Cheaper, more reliable headsets
-Less likely to f**k up installation
-easy to change
-solid w. brass knucks

Cons:

-Its expensive.
-Others become jealous.

A big con is that if you run it loose you'll ovalize your headtube and then it's shot. Normally this wouldn't matter, but so many kids are stupid and run their headsets loose that it could be an issue.

That's why I wouldn't run an itegrated on a scooter. It's not that big of an upgrade, and if you run it loose and it gets ovalized, there goes your whole deck.

So, if you run a integrated loose, then ur headtube gets ovalised, but if u run an headset loose on a normal headset, you wont have a problem yeah?

wow i cant believe what i read, this thred is completly backwards, standard head tubes will ovalize, integrated, cant ovalize its imposable they fit in a 45 deg taper,with a standard head set your bering cups can rock back and forth,

Standard you will ovalize your headset cups. Integrated you'll ovalize your whole headtube. I've seen it on a bmx bike.

Running an integrated headset loose for a while will ovalize your actual headtube. There's not a question about it. That's not saying no matter what you're going to mess up your headtube, if you run it tight it'll be fine.
