internal threaded compression?

youll be able to use all of them with an internally threaded compression. u just dont need a starnut in the fork. and the phoenix fork is kinda like a welded starnut but one piece.

justin, what huge lip?

dont be stupid about it tho. ive had my drive light forks for a year. mine hasnt stripped.

yea cause your forks are chromoly and you barley loosen that bolt lol if the fork tube was alu that would be bad lol

in that pic of the bike fork where it is like huge that wouldnt fit in a scs cause in the middle of a scs their is a lip that the compression cap sits on so it goes in too far for a bolt that large to go through it get my drift?

I'm soon to try this, i have a few old bike forks (one colony endevour, one fit and another real light colony i think) and i just cut the legs of so all i have is the steerer tube and i will eventually weld them to some legs, i can't wait to try them out.
I could be mistake but i think that RAD may have actually made some prototypes with internal threaded steerer tubes correct me if i'm wrong.

once it strips you seem fucked though.

Smash a star nut in it and your set.
