Can you do them fly out? Get em fairly locked on fly out and then take em to street.

Try Rolling them off your shoulder more rather than tossing them way out over your head.

try to flick it, sortof, when you jump. And learn them on a kicker or flyout or over a box or something haha. get to the point where you can catch them, than learn them on street. idk what else, do It by feel

Learning them out of a bank is comfortable, try that. Learning them like that will take much more time
