inward fork problem

do you need a race with a threadless inward fork using an a scs i tried but the start nut wouldn't reach and inward installed it help ?

im not trying to be mean but i think this is the most ridiculous question i have ever read. yes you need a crown race.

thats pretty sick. but im not too sure it will work too well for every headset out there
