Inward Scooters

I got myself banned.
Discuss Inward's parts here, don't spam other threads with them.

I was reading through the bars thread and conor was saying they weren't straight and the welds weren't filed down and the wheel barley fit.

My fork legs are completely straight, the welds were filed down and to be honest if they weren't filed down i wouldn't really give a fuck. unlike about 90% of you kids here i care about how good my riding is not how nice my scooter is. i understand if you want ideal parts but inward's a pretty new company so give JP some time and you're definately gonna be seeing more legit stuff from them.

In the meantime though, the forks ARE really great and i haven't had any problems whatsoever with mine.

Bars on the otherhand are a whole different matter, everybody was saying how they were shit? If you guys didn't know, inside the crossbar there's an internal reinforcement welded to the inside of the bar.

I'm not going to judge how good or bad these bars are, because i haven't ridden them. But everybody who's owned a pair of these said they loved theirs.

If you're gonna talk down about a part, wait until you actually ride it.

So keep all discussion here about inward, if you want to compare them to other parts go ahead but just keep the main focus on inward.

i've had the bars since christmas and i love them. they seem a little heavy but i don't care about weight just saying, some might not like it. they are solid and very professional looking especially with the powder coating job jp did.

i am having one problem though. when i try to put my bars over my threadless fork i can only get them to slide down till there is about 1cm between them and the headset
i've tried lubing it and stuff but no luck - any suggestions?

send a fork to test ill use t with the heels scooter only are sending me to test

Theres enough people riding the forks right now with no problems in bending them or snapping them. So no need for this really.

I got the zero offset .120 thick threaded forks. And theyre one of the best investments ive made for my scooter in a long time. Cant wait to ride the bars and see how those do.

yeah only they go in on their own free will at the sight of up and coming parts not yet available to average people my trunk it sick.......and it will soon be a treasure chest

also might i add i have gotten 5 forks from the guy

back in his eBay day's,i purchased my first fork
i will admit the first fork wasn't ''pretty'' but damn it was and still is bomb proof (not yet bent or broken), i threw my scooter a bit and those fork legs and tube went places no normal riding would take them ,im glad to say and support a person who constructs a fork to take such punishment and on top of that a person that is willing to support you, if you aren't satisfied for most reasonable requests.

i ended up buying a second fork i wanted a few things changed and instead of saying 'nope that's how they come' he asked 'what i was thinking of' then went out and made it happen i wanted to have it lighter and cleaner looking as well as fit my agent oranges comfortably and he made it happen :)

when i got that fork i was so impressed !amazed i decided that my whole crew should have them then we all pooled together and bought 3 more the whole shipment was 4 now all of us have street-x forks, and some of us will soon have bars

so there is my story on my relationship with inward
and i hope the story continues
