Aright well, this is what happened with my pro model. (locked mechanism)
First i would tighten this with an allen wrench to stop the scooter from moving all over the place

Then, today i had tightened it to much that it couldn't be tightened anymore (meaning it broke). It didn't even seem like i was tightning it too much. (aluminum= easy to break)
I then decided i need something stronger. This is what i added to it. http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/3382/frontytv9.jpg
I added an iron plate the same size as the aluminum plate and drilled four holes for it to go into the scooter. Once i did that, i locked in the way left and right screws in from the old plate. Then i got two set screws and threaded them into the scooter. After that, i put lock tight in to keep it in place.
Now it doesn't wiggle! I don't know if anybody came up this, but it sure helps! (if it even losens, i can always use an allen wrench again)
