I want to bolt my folding mech but i don't want to risk my scooter. I'm not a wimp but my parents would get PO'ed and yell at me 4 half an hour if I permanently screw up my scooter. My friend has a stock pro and I'm trying to get him to try it first but he doesnt want to risk his either. I have an old old razor that I think was like the first A or something but is impossible to bolt (I've tried because I dont ride that anymore). I use my slightly modded pro now. Has anyone ever taken off the black rings and been able to put them back on just in case it didnt work out?

its really worth it if you want a very solid scooter, and i dont really know how you could fuck it up. and there is a tool that you can get to take on and off those rings.

don't worry dude, you can't mess it up unless you don't have bolts to lock it. make sure you have them, then go for it its definitely worth it.

Dude it works out, you just completely gut the whole folding mech, black rings, lever, ect. and then get 2- 5/16 grade 8 bolts that are 2 1/2 inches long with grade 8 nuts and 4 washers and 1- 5/8 grade 8 bolt with a grade 8 nut and 2 washers.

I have watched videos but I don't have the bolts. Ive got plenty of axles but I need a 10mm bolt. I'm actually considering buying one of those bolt kits. I'm too lazy to go to my nearest hardware store and by a bolt and some washers. Ive seen some guys use bearings, can u use those? Heck I should just go to my nearest store and do that.

Actually, I hate to say it, but it's common sense...

Take out all the black rings and the plastic on the side. And then get bolts to replace it! Yay! I figured it out in 2-3 minutes when I didn't even scooter yet.....it's so simple.

I got myself banned.
If your that scared of your parents and don't wanna risk it, just put a back wheel axle behind the headtube so it locks it in place. Same effect, but you just have to listen to all of that shit in the headtube jingle around.
