It's pretty much the same concept with threadless forks on scooters and bikes. What bike shop do you work at lol?

Yeah, steam raisers...or steerer extensions or however you wanna call it...
It can be used to work as a compression, should work just fine...

What bothers me is that they still don't eleminate the weak spot on bars, since bars can start cracking right where the slit/notch is at the bottom. And you would have to use an additional clamp for your bars, which will make the looks/concept of your scooter with two diffirent clamp-shaped items just weird. But what ever floats your boat: if that is a cheap accessory to help you to go from threaded to threadless, then it might be a good temporary solution.
 
i agree with u madis i was just showing people that they look a lot alike i personally use scs but it goes like 2 inches pasted the slit in my spare inwards they havent been cut for scs yet so it technically moves the weak spot
