At my school, all the skaters make fun of me, but everybody else thinks it's pretty cool. It doesn't really affect what girls think of me, thank god. Lol

Eh. I just ignore it. And on the occasions that I don't ignore it, I'll argue with whoever said it and eventually make them look like closed-minded dumb asses.

like 1 time i was riding along a fence kindve close to a rail, but not too close so ppl culd still shred it to get to the other side of a skatepark. then sum old ass (late 20's)wood pusher mashing my way not even looking like he is going to attempt the rail flings his board into my ankle. he said gay little scooter kid get out of mah way. my ankle got soooo fucked up i culdnt ride 4 pretty much 2 weeks. but this is the only time ive ever gotten pissed at sum1 4 calling me gay 4 riding a scooter. i started talking shit 2 him cuz he sucked ass at skating anyway and he was wayyyyy bigger than me but im chill wit all the other locals there so the pussy didnt do shit.

EDIT:now that i think of it, its been happening a lot less out here in SD. that^ happened like almost 2 months ago.

Well, if he said "scootering is gay"
I would say something like "what makes it gay?" and for some reason, 80% of the people I say that to just give up right there.

For the other 20%, they'd name off some dumb reason and then I'd say "i like scootering because its a lot more individual. Skateboarding has become a trend and I don't wanna be a part of that mainstream crap. I wanna be different. Freestyle is a way to express creativity, and you're not doing that if your being a follower." and etc. etc.

I was at a skateboard/scooter only park yesterday and I was the only guy there on a scooter, just riding around minding my own buisness and this kid comes up to me on his bike and calls me a "Scooter Fag". So I said "Well, I guess you will have no problem beating me in BIKE then right? Since I am just a little scooter fag." Beat him in four strait tricks (I have been riding BMX for two years now) on HIS bike. Mother fucker looked like a clown in front of all his buddies and then I said "Who's the fag now?"
