Is there any strategic reason to use two different sized wheels?

I've noticed quite a few people in the wheel review topic ordered one each of two different sized wheels for use on the same scooter.

Does this help anything, or is just a preference thing?

Well, bigger wheels = faster. And a lot of people don't like big wheels in the back. Like i have a 110 metal core, and i ride it in the front because i hate big wheels in the back.

hell yea Danny... i had the same idea... like i always used to ride 110 Yaks in the front and 100 Yak in the back... but then they both broke so i just use watever now... haha

i ride the same sized wheels front and back. It rides fast and smooth

Sometimes (like with 125s) you can only ride in front.

I'm not saying it won't be fast, but put a 110 on and it'll be faster.

i use to like 110's all around but now im back to stocks
