it sets a good impression.
you get things for your scooter,either discounted or completely free of charge to help you out.
you get respect from people like BMXers ans Skateboarders,which will take you more seriously because of this.

just a few things,feel free to disagree.

no that's not my reason.First i dont have anybody to scooter with.So i thought if i would get sponsored by uk scooter team i might find some guys to scooter with

how is that stupid?it might not for you and I hope your actually in the position that you can say that,but it makes a difference for me.

i am and it doesnt really do much or matter, you get more respect from others for not giving two shits about what others say about riding scooters and doing it anyways.

sponsors arent that great of a thing, you get a $45 scooter occasionally i suppose, but you can do the exact same thing with a job and ride that, they cost about as much as a pair of skate shoes.
