Is this a good starter scooter?

I'm about to purchase a razor ultra pro from scooter zone. It comes with demon cores, long necks , and new grip tape. It only cost 100$. I don't do really big stair sets (my highest is 6) do you think this is good scooter for me?

very good starter scooter. Dont buy a expensive complete because if you're new to the sport who knows in 3 months or so you may find that it's not for you.

Don't buy threadless forks to start. It'll be awhile until you understand the ins and outs of the compatability between different forks and compression systems, so don't waste money by buying the wrong thing. Threaded isn't even that bad anyways, it worked fine for me for over a year.

Just replace things as they break. Don't feel the need to upgrade immediately.

just put tread tape or plumbers tape on the fork threads so the threaded compression does not come loose

this does not work

edit: use TWO locknuts and tighten them to each other... my threaded compression is dialed this way

shoot! youll be fine. im what you call poor and have been riding an ultra pro for a year and the previous four years before that i rode pro models. i still ride buffs on them.
