I plan to buy a Nikon D80 and I searched on google , I found this website.

ebay is just people trying to pawn off their junk to strangers over the anonymity of the internet.

bhphoto adorama and ritz are all legit places with good prices and customer service

Don't forget Amazon.com too, that's where i got my D40 and it came with like memory cards, camera bags, and tons of extra shit.

The only time you should buy off ebay if the seller has a high feedback rating (like 97% and up) with like more than 20 sales.

Most of the cheap cameras on ebay are stolen. Its ok to buy stolen stuff, unless you're geotagging stuff. Or all the Nikon cameras/Canon pro cameras have username settings so your name goes in the EXIF data, and if you use a certain program, you can find what pictures are being taken with your stolen camera. Don't geotag with ebay cameras.

Oh sure they are...

How can you say that? If you find a camera that is like body lens, no chargers or cords or anything theres a possibility its stolen, but how often do you see stuff like that.

Lots of positive feedback = legit seller, legit item.
