Is this trade worth it?

Well my other post got closed, idk why. prolly wrong section. But i'd like more comments.

A friend and I are trading Black Iconic Bars (16x21) for Black Inwards (18x21.5).
The Iconic bars are almost perfect, no bends, very few scratches, very clean looking. The Inwards are Not bent, or dented but they are pretty scratched. The Iconic bars are about 3-4 months old while the Inwards are about 1 month old. Is trading the iconics worth it?

Ok thank you. I just dont want to mess up. Is there any way to prevent further threading from the fork into the bars??? that buggs me alot

You dont understand. The interior wall of the bars is "threaded" cause of them being clamped to the fork. Is there any way to stop that?

I know BARS ARENT THREADED

At least you know that.
Well, you can:

1: not ride threaded forks
2: buy bars new

Well that leads back to the thing is it worth trading, cause my iconics are flawless on the inside and thicker. Can that "threading" cause them to snap? its not that deep but i just dont know...

I'd sand, primer, paint, clear coat

and yeah, if they're welded by S&M I'd keep them, I see bent inwards often
