Well pretty much over the past month or two I've been watching BMX videos and thinking about starting it up.. I know how to ride bikes and I was thinking what would be the best kinda bike to just first start on I've looked at Felt BMX Bikes but i don't know if there the best kinda brand that last.. I'm thinking about spending between 800 - 900$ so if anyone knows any good bikes to start on could you please help me start out.

Would this Bike be good to start on.

Get an Eastern Ace of spades or something.
They're around that $1000 mark, and are a fairly good stock bike.

Ok don't listen to these people. If you are getting into it, get something cheap to start. I've been into it, and I bought a GT, it was like $250, but I'm sponoed by my LBS so I got it for $200, but anyway, I put an extra $110 in it and I'm extremely happy with it. The point of the story, go with something cheap to make sure you want to stay with it, and just upgrade. Don't throw away $8-900 just to find out its not something you like. Trust me, I know so many people that have done it and wanted to get out but couldn't because they threw so much away. You don't want to look like a poser either.

I wouldnt buy a complete, just build up a bike, costs less
no it doesnt
yes it does, in the long run. Because most people that start off with a stock bike keep upgrading parts over time anyway.

What I'd do though is I'd head over to your local classifieds on something like craigslist or pinkbike and look for a decent used frame/complete for sale, and just build it up with parts that you want.

i have an eastern shovelhead 08
eastern parts arent the best parts
especially stock parts
id say a fit or something
and than tanner post was meh
