Jailbreaking iPhone using ZIPHONE

i am trying to jailbreak my original iphone with 2.2 software, and i have to use ZIPHONE

when i try to do it, it says entering recovery mode and just stays there for a half hour

i have to keep restoring it every time it doesnt work, too

does anyone know what to do

i used that to jailbreak my ipod
i had no problems
i dont think you can jailbreak 2.0 or higher though

i dont think the firmware is jailbreakable period.

unlocking the phone to any service.

But did you try just getting the code from at&t? Just tell them that you are going out of the country and need it so you can have it work and after alittle bit they should be able to give it to you!
