the point i brought up about the sport dieing is more relating to what the owners want
lets face it what would happen if tom floyd from phoenix brian from lucky todd from zg, mike for mgp , all the other company owners decide we are pulling our investments out and quitting the scooter buisness. Well in time their replacements would come but for a while there would be a gap where theres no scooter companies. I got word that more rollerblading companies such as k2 ( and more) and going to invest into scootering because they feel that the rollerbladers were too difficult to deal with and they are done with the sport. Well that same thing could happen to scooters. Its possible. Not saying its for sure going to happen but its possible. So to me if the owners want their riders to have a fanpage then let the owners have their way. Its not that big of a deal to know tyler bonner along with every other pro scooter rider is going to eventually have or make a fanpage. Aim for the sky guys. When we treat our sport like its a huge sport then it will become one. Its all in due time
idk i could be wrong but all this stuff doesn't hurt its the negative talk that hurts
o_O
that makes no logical sense at all. i doubt the owners of the companys care that much if their riders have fanpages or not... most scooter companys are making good money, i doubt that they would pull out for something stupid like that.

i stand by the opinion that fan pages are stupid unless you're really famous.

all the different owners have different things they want
i know this because i have either had a meeting or actually talked person to person at events with them.
they expect more out of their riders
i heard straight from some of the owners say " they want their riders to have fanpages"
not trying to sound cocky but me ( along with the guys from inside and other website leaders) are more likely to have the correct information because we are in more communication with them

you have any idea how dumb that sounds?
i doubt they care that much. having a fanpage when you dont literally get thousands of requests a day is pointless, and makes you come off as cocky.

i dont know why you are so upset with me lol
i have talked to some owners9 not all but some
and some of them specifically said
" we want our riders to make a facebook fanpage"
don't get mad at me
and also think this
these owners are business men/ women so they generally know what they are doing

It may seem cocky, but if i had a bijillion kids befriending me i'd rather them go to a fanspage.

hahaha, this reminds me of Dalton Mazzante's fanpage and how much of an egotistical douche that kid is.

James Gee seems like an awesome guy though, so I'd become a fan of him.

I got myself banned.
all fan pages are gay. If you say little kids are clogging your facebook up and asking you questions, WHY THE FUCK DID YOU ADD THEM? God.

Alright Ill try and paint a picture for you:
Blunt for example wants everyone who scooters to see his blunt video because thats more promotion for them. Jordan doesn't want all the scooter kids to hit up his facebook. So he makes a fanpage. Allows every scooter kid on the world to add them/ like it. Then he can update the fanpage with his new video and all those kids who are friends with the fans page see it in their news feed when they are online.
Do you get it now
Its all about exposure

so basically what your saying is the fan page is more for the company then the rider because the company is advertising with the fanpage
