Yeah. I'm not getting a Civic. They're way overpriced here anyways, you'd be lucky to find a '98 base model civic with 160k on it for under 4000. I like 240s/180s, RX7s are way out of my price range (I enjoy having an at least somewhat up to date interior, I'm done driving 80s cars with next to no working electronics so I'm not buying an older rx7), Miatas are way too fucking expensive for what they are. I might look into a mid-90s BMW 3/5 series, there's a few nice ones around here in my price range.

well actually it does have something to do with the country of origin lol like say a right hand drive bmw is just imported to japan. that car is now available in, and can be sold in japan. i doesnt make it JDM. domestic, meaning home. means JDM is really japanese "home" market. i.e. made in japan.

I'm almost 100% sure on the car I'm getting.

It's a '93 Passat wagon with an obdII vr6. 5 speed, timing chains, head gasket, and head work recently done, cammed and chipped (262 cams, nothing major), exhaust, slammed on coils but still daily driveable. It's only 2500 bucks, and I'm giving the dude a grand down towards it to hold it until I get the rest of the money.
