Definately work on your composition.
I like the last one the most, but would've been better with either the truck framing it, or the right side of the building.
Other than that, better than the average picture thread so far.
Don't dissapoint us

Ehh Arron? Dont dissapoint us? Oh and by the way , these pictures were from the skatepark over here ( SMP ). I took it them while standing in a big patch of land which once stood the metal '' street '' section on the park. It has been moved to another skatepark in Shanghai.

The "Don't dissapoint us" was a reference to all the new photography threads lately, they are dissapointing, and really don't deserve to exist.
Your second update proved you should keep yours up and running, the earphone shot is an amazing concept, i'd love to see it in a lightbox.

Love the first one, its definately different.
A lightbox is a box, that is made of practically anything, you shine light into it, place various subjects in there, and snap away.

Basically, it's used to take photos of various things, like earphones, for example.

So what's the purpose of a lightbox? Is it to block off all those random stuff you see behind ( like a backdrop but smaller ) or to soften the flash?

Pretty much. we done it in photography at school it turned out gay. all you need is a table and a black curtain or backdrop imo

Cool. The picture didn't load for me the first time.

I've been planning on making my homemade mini backdrop but I haven't quite checked the price at the shops here for a small backdrop. Maybe its not worth it to make it.

Just make the light box.
Much more cost effective, and the one i made ages ago worked wonders.
I'll see if i can find the photos, doubt it though

Cardboard box, cut a hole, and put a light in the hole.
Put some white cardboard, curved, inside, and you're done.
