ok so if you have a cane creek headset with threaded forks and buffs should you use a compression system or not because right now i have to keep the stock bolt on the fork threads for it not to wobble and plus i want to get some sr forks in the future should i get threaded or threadless thanks, joe

if u are riding a THREADED fork then you do NOT need a compression system
however if u are riding a THREADLESS fork thn u do need a compression sytem

if u want to know how to install a compression system on ur THREADLESS fork thn here is a diagram

yeah ive already saw that diagram but i was just wondering if you can use a compression system on a threaded fork to stop the wobble

Yesss u can but there is rely no point...if there is wobble it means ur headset is too loose or u didnt bolt ur foldy right unless u are truly not bolting ur bars tight enough....
when u put ur bars on bang the wheel against the ground holding on to the barsss...at first it will seem rattily but thn after like 3 it feels solid...then u align ur wheel and tighten it

yeah i know that my bolts on my folding mech are perfect but should i be using the stock bolt that goes on the forks with the cane creek?

ok soo on a stock fork there is a bolt with like a covering thing glued onto itttt right yeah u do not have to use tht on ur Cane Creek.
instead u use the other one tht came with ur cane creek i dont know what it looks like because i ahve never seen a cane creek headset but if it is like an fsa u shuld take the top cup dust cover and put it in thn there should be like an angeld peice of metall wiht a slit in called a shimmu put the into the top dust cover thing..thn u take the stock bolt(not the one with the dust cover on it but the one tht looks just like a normal bolt) andd screw it onn to ur fork so tht ur headset spins freely but ur fork does not wiggle in it

i hope u understand tht
