They were always $100, and i just saw they were only $50 so i got one, and it will be here Thursday! What are the first few things i should do to it? Im a beginnner, but ive owned a pro model before, and im okay at scooters, but never bought aftermarket parts.

Yeh, a new, threadless headset deffo:) even though it will be worth half as much as your scooter on its own;) but you would need some threadless forks, otherwise it won't work. If you can afford more expensive items, go for some SMX or Phorx forks. If you're on a budget, think about some Grits or some District forks. Also, you will a new compression kit.

you dont need metal cores, its called hot glue and rup wheels. theyll last. i wuld probly get a nice HIC tee bar, HIC kit, and a good fork. i wuld recomend a VertX HIC bar and a fork from freestyledepot.com, get a proto stiker, there on sale ;)

i can tailwhio, 360, barspin sometimes. Question, if i got a thread less headset, how would i compress the headset? is there ANY way i could use ICS with the stock forks and bars, and a thread less headset? cause thats one thing i can't stand is the threaded headset. and will the integrated headset bearings fit in the standard headset cups that come on the RUP?

depends, theres different sizes of integreaded bearings. and yeah, if u install a starnut in ur bars and have the ics bolt and cap u can use ics with rup bars, fork, and some kind of threadless headset. it will eliminate the need for the threads, and work are threadless.

does anyone have a picture of RUP forks on the bottom? would i need to buy a cap or washer to stop the ICS bolt from going straight through the forks?

i would just get metal cores and a threadless headset since the bars are alright deck is strong and the wheels arnt great but metal cores would be good and if your still a beginer the forks will be fine and the headset is a problem as razor ones arnt that good or any threaded infact so a threadless headset would be better and just put the locknut on like normal over the threadless headset

Would it be a good idea to make a brake like the switchblade or flex fender?

ehh. i was gonna do it with my rup but i was too laazy to drill the holes for it. id just get a fakey brake or a blade brake off inward. theyre like the same thing as madd gear brakes, or just keep the rup brake. its just a brake. it doesnt really matter too much.

new headset and forks, get the forks from vertx, super duper cheap and really nice, and just run ics until you get a scs clamp, which would happen after you get a nice pair of wheels, and some longnecks asap unless you want a fuckton of blisters

first of all, don't obsess about making your scooter 100% dialed constantly. it really doesn't matter what it sounds like when you drop it, just ride the thing.
second, don't buy new bars. the ultra pro bars are fine.
third, don't get anything except grips and griptape. after you ride it for awhile, start working your way up and getting little things like brakes, cheap metal cores, and a headset if you'd like. (threaded headsets spin much faster, threadless headsets are smoother)

there's no point in buying an ultra pro if you're going to replace every part except the deck anyway. that's my advice. actually, i really like threaded/stock stuff because the headset spins fast and it's pretty light. the only problem is when you're more advanced trying bigger things, you're going to break your stock parts. once you see alot of wear and tear or breakage, then buy new parts.
