Umm, sorry for being negative but i cant see how " he has a good eye for photography"
I mean, its a picture of a deckchair with a low dof, theyre pretty much all regular shots with a low dof, nothing special so idk what you guys are saying.
You could do an overhead close up of the patterns on the deckchair, would be more interesting than the whole thing.
But i reckon if this guy had better subjects his photos could be good.

yea, i scanned all these in and i refused to scan in the really bad ones he somehow thought were good
and people just because theres no dof doesnt mean a photo cant be interesting......for me it helps when theres something kind of boring to focus on what the person first sees when they look at the picture by not having a dof you might want the viewer to see everything in the picture i personally liked the lawnchair because the color just pops out real nice he didnt want to scan it in but i did

Its a cluttered picture of a tree branch taken at like F/4, anyone could take that photo, even if they have been doing photography like 10 minutes.
No disrespect to Justin, im just giving an opinion.

Dylan, I know for a fact im better at photography than this kid,Ive even said i mean no disrespect to Justin, so you dont need to go into defence mode.
Myabe you should fucking read what i write instead of talking shit to me.
Ive not said the picture is bad, its not fucking amazing tho, if you think it is then your photographically retarded.

well just like how people have a different taste in music they can also have a different taste in photography. some of his shots i like. you dont have to be all negative just because some people like his shots and you dont
