if you wanna have a cheap allround scooter take a pro...

Everone telling him to get an Old A, read. He said he would like a bigger deck like the one on the x games. The pro is probably his best choice, and why would he want an old a, which is smaller?

Pro for the price. Your feet will fit on it fine, especially if you don't ride ski.
Now for the positioning, take a skateboard deck or a piece of cardboard or whatever and lay it on a carpet or grass. Run at it and jump onto it. Whatever way you naturally land on it, thats how you should ride.
