I don't really like the sound of it.. Theres BMX, and theres scootering, but not really anything else in betwween
I agree here, but I also believe scootering and BMX are closely involved with each other.

I own SR.
Why have pedals if you can't pedal? They are called "kick" scooters for a reason. The goal is to simplify and eliminate as many moving parts as possible not add more. If you want pedals you can ride a bike.

kk im starting to believe that this is all bogus,im not trying to be nasty, hell no,but we still havent seen any pictures yet,and i googled "KMX Scooters" and nothing came up of relation, and i googled "KMX",and it says that they specialise in Go-Karts,and even if it does show up,its just gunna b another fuzion like story, the media and scooterers are gunna poke and prod it for a while, and just lose interest.

EDIT:the current ideas sound a bit retarded, but dont worry, everybodys, gunna help improve this soon-to-be product ;)

Omg weird, i asked jeeves, asked questions on yahoo, searched wikipedia...still nothing, i wonder why this new idea isnt on the net anywhere...
hmmmmm

I just wanna see some designs and such before i take my vote.
Props on trying to help the scooter community tho.

Please....

Also read the whole post carefully:

If many scooter riders are seriously interested in this new freestyle scooter concept (please send a mail to robert_steinbachÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?©hotmail.com), I will send back design pics as soon as possible.

I will send a picture to the e-mail adresses I got, when the product design (three dimensional drawing) is finished.

This is a concept... First, which means that it is not on the market yet... so nobody will find anything anywhere, except at the patend agency.

Second, nobody wants to change the micro scooter.

People like former x-games bike rider and pro-bmxer Nico S. gave me input which builded the base of this bmx related freestyle scooter.

You all here have the chance to show your interest and/or give a productive input, because the kmx is primarily a scooter not a bmx.
The more response the concept gets the better could it be for the future development of scooter riding in general.

!! discuss !!

Hes a biker, not a scooter rider, we know what works, we have what it takes to do an assload of tricks that many sports do and then some with what we have already have.

scooter designs will stay the same, its is a solid sport and will only get better.

hate it, love it, fuck you i dont care either way.. no more fuzion bullshit, and no more "NEW" concepts.

It sounds like a cool, fun concept, but it shouldn't be in the same category as scooters. It still sounds cool, but its completely different

yh.its because its says robert_steinbachÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?©hotmail.com,when it should be robert_steinbach @ hotmail.com,you need to change the "Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?©" to a "@" you super-n00b.

lol XD (im not being mean btw)

There is no gearing. You just stand on pedals. It is going to be like riding chainless only the pedals won't move either which sounds very unappealing so I will probably get rid of this thread shortly because I see it turning into another Fuzion company using SR to develop some random ass product.

ehh i would kinda have to see it to go judging how bad it sounds, and anyways it would be kinda sick to hit some dirt jumps on a scooter, when like street and park get boring.

i do like the bmx influence on scooters but that would be too much. you should have got info and ideas from atleast one really good scooterer.
did the bike guys even scooter?

Hi guys,

...yes they do, but the problem is you can do only one thing at the same time, ..so you have to do a decision.
Look into the history of scootering. It was always near to the bmx sport! Always BMXer wanted to push this sport!!

To the statements before:

I know, without pics its a little bit boring to discuss... ..but you will get it

Now, I hope I can explain..

- Pedals may pivot horizontally to compensate for tilt of the
scooter when operating at various slopes, e.g. while operating within a half pipe.
That means you have "automatically" a right wheight position if you use it right, espacially in transitions and on a big jump.

- suitable for attaching pedals or a footboard
so it is your choice. Mayby the pedals stop at a range of 80 Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?°, so it is enough to have a right wheight (center) position while riding in a transition. Also it is your choice where you fix them. You can do it like you stand on the scooter- There are more embodiments possible.
Is a wide footboard better ? Give us your statement!

About the other statements:

Companies can build the scooter so small and light , how you think it is right. (I think wheels should be big enough for dirt and big ramps) Tell us what you think.

Fusion? I saw a bmx handel bars (front) with a half skateboard (back) and other scooters called bmx scooters.. thats all bull shit. I saw real bmx scooters made by bmxer, which were to heavy and really not more than a bmx with a footboard over the lower frame tube... This is not useful for scooter freestyle just as bad for bmx freestyle.

..... so I think kmx is a fusion , however a fusion of scooter and bmx related knowledge.. so I think it is a useful fusion to do bmx related scootering or to ride a scooter related (kickbike) "bmx-thing"

Some will love it, some will hate it. Like one guy told about microscooters.

DonÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´t forget all freestyle sports are connected to each other. Not only scooter and bmx. Also snowb. - inline ......

Even austrians learned: Skiers fight together with snowboarders, not against.....lol, HAHA

Thanx to all for your statements!! ,..I hope it will be more and more

greets

Sounds pretty dissapointing dude. No offense, but NO ONE will buy or use that thing. Even if scootering is linked to bmx, a Professional BIKE rider who rides BIKES knows nothing about how a scooter rider rides.
