KMX is a Scooter or BMX or what?

man, just give it up. make a real scooter, or a real bike. not something that completely fails at trying to combine both

to make it higher put a 20" fork on it from a bmx and there you go.

i would not want to hit my balls on that thing.

How would you be able to put a BMX fork on it? the headset goes on forever.

Does the brake go to the front wheel or the back? Also I think the pedals might be at the wrong angle because you'll be leaning forward a lot.
Either ride a scooter or a bike, not something in between, I think it's a bit stupid.

seriously this thing is fail. stop posting it and emailing it to me.
who would want a slow bike that you cant peddle? it looks stupid and anyone riding one would be shit talked to death. balancing would be weird, and your heel/shin would hit the peddle thing when you push. a lot of bike/scooter tricks would not be possible on that thing. the pegs are useless because the foot things are below them. and really, imagine the position you would have to be in to ride it. sorry to rain on your parade, but it just doesn't seem like it would work out.

first. bigger wheels = more speed, whatever i will drop.

second, don`t be afraid or angry. youÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´re cool as you be. And believe me you will be older soon, and then you will be loughing about the shit talker. Disser only people, which have problems by themselves.

third, balance exactly good as bmx, little bit different because smaller, lighter and lower.

pegs: if you want to push near by pedal (i dont think so) , dismount it.

because the pegs are beetween it is really a point to discuss and to develop. One point you have to know: the pegs stick out more than the pedals, so you can grind it together, but you have to position the leg e.g. on the rear peg while grinding. We think/ want to have strong gindable pedals like a bmx or better, so you can also grind with one peg and one pedal together.

Position: The stance is dimensionally accurate like bmx, so it can not be so bad to use. Only difference is, alike scooters, the frame/and stance is lower. What means, you will know it, better movement ability.

THX for your statement and discussion/contribution

i snow scoot on wheels.

you re right. It is really related to.

But the stance on the snow scoots are bad I think. The stance of them is to less related to BMX or scooter. And also, because they have no rotateable pedals, (would be necessary by a faceforwarding stance), you have a big problem with your (foot) ankle while jumping or going vert. g

Why wouldn't they make a wheel the size of planet Earth.

Laws of physics: bigger wheel = heavier wheel = bigger momentum = harder to accelerate/stop, requires more energy to get into motion or stop the motion.

You may say that "BMX has bigger wheels than this" - yes, you are correct, but they also have PEDALS, CRANKS, A GEAR AND CHAIN fully functional. Go push a BMX without a chain.

This thread is not about phychology. It's about a scooter... or a kickbike.

Balance is about everybody's own individual skill, if he/she is used to the stuff he rides or not.

Once you put pedals on the side which foot you are pushing with, the pegs will get caught in to your heels. Try putting a long peg on your own little scooter on the side and the result may not be so comfortable. On BMX, it doesn't matter where you have pegs as long as your feet are on the pedals, not streched out like pushing a scooter.

I still don't get it why would anyone want to put non-functional pedals if you can put a long base instead and have massive amount of room where to put your legs. That way it would make trick landings easier and that way it wouldn't matter what kind of stance does your kickbike have to be modified to in order to move the pedals back and forth.

yeah, it looks just about as hard to do tricks on as a bike, but since you can't pedal, it's gonna be next to impossible to do them on that thing because you won't be able to get as much speed or air. Plus it will be the most horrifyingly un-stylish thing ever..

So that is one of the reasons why i developed this KMX,

Its light its small, its definetly easier to do whips, spins and donÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´t forget the future: side flips, flairs and rodeos.

For air you get speed by droping and pushing your wheight, nothing else ;)
For street or tech stuff you have anough way to get speed, hopefully, however only necassary for gaps or stairs.

Shame, that you donÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´t like the product, or graphic? design. I think with the right dimensions it looks like puristic freestyle. g

it would get more shit then scootering.

Hi,, you donÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´t know how I get ---- while do skateboarding.

This is, i think.. maby more then 20 years ago. And now.. look how big skateboarding is.

DonÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´t worry scootering will be big. And other sports will come an be big... hopefully I think KMX for sure

you are right, the wheels must be small enough for moving. We want them small, but big enough for dirt...

.. yeah, sorry for my english. I mean the physical(tech) circumstances for balance taking(holding)

the pegs dont will be long, they stick out more becouse wheel and frame(fork ams) makes the difference (the pic is tehnically a little bit wrong), but you are right, because that is a point to discuss. I personally dont need pegs, but it must be able for the tech riders, and I think it is

I know , what you mean. But we don`t want to innovate a new or better scooter, we want to innovate a freestyle Kickbike. Nowadays their is difference, because the "old" oldschool kickbikers (heavy scooters, scooter bikes with endless big wheels, ...) are stand with both feet parallel to the direction of ride.
To develope a (heavier) scooter with a long base (footboard) would be a failure. ItÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´s been done 100 times before. As you all said---to heavy. The micro scooter (style) design is perfect in this point. The stance of the micro scooters are related to skateboarding, and the stance of KMX is related to bmx i think.

tHX for the really good productive discussion, ... am ready for more greets

I don't know why in every KMX topic someone posts "Looks hard to whip"...if people do double whips on MTBs...I don't see the problem here...

And yeah...how did it finnish with ISPO Brand New...I saw KMX pretty high the last few days...is it going into production anytime soon?

Hi, the ispo company said it is very interesting and well presenteted, also said they couldÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´t really compare with the other products, because it is now only a design concept.
They want the KMX in the competition, maby next year, after it is innovated on the market. Because it is really good enough to get an award, maybe in the future.

Now i am searching for sponsors and producer.

THX for your positve feedback,. to all of you!!

it only shows that tehe pedals are rotateable, but also you can choose fix footboards..

but plaese don t ask me why rotateable... or i tell you

because you have to compensate the tilt while riding in a forward facing stance (both feet parallel to the direction of ride). This is necessary especially while riding in the verts or on jumps.

schade,

KMX macht BMX tricks leichter. Das es kein scooter is , is ma klar, aber ein bissl scooter feeling is einfach dabei.
