Knee Problems?

I have a maltracking patella on my left knee from riding, it used to really bad but it has been getting better. It used to be so bad then whenever I even just slightly tapped it I would experience immense pain. Now if I bang it hard enough it just hurts a lot for a while, usually I can walk it off.

I used to wear kneepads every time i rode, killed my joints from falling like that all the time.

Still get sore from time to time.

you might have oscar schlatter syndrom (i think thats how you spell it)

this is what i have, there's a huge bump directly under my knee's from it. after i take a big impact on my knee's it kills and i stop riding for about a week. i have been to a couple of doctors for it, all they have said is that it will go away slowly in about 1.5 or 2 years

^that could be it^
I had osgood schlatter in my left knee from football and hockey right before i started riding. I also got bursitis in the same knee from bumping my knee into the bars on my bars. Now i wear a knee pad. And I put on a bunch of weight since I started riding so I do less drops/big stuff than I used to cuz my knees r shot.

im currently recovering from surgery on my meniscus (arthroscopy) took a month to recover back to 85%, got it done on december 21st and im just now getting comfortable with gaps but ive been riding ledges and stuff for a week or so now. some of the symptoms you guys were saying def sound like a meniscus or even ACL problem, especially you grant. id get it checked out. surgery isnt bad, 30 minute operation, be sure to get valium before hand, best high you'll ever experience :D
