I was just watching the news and I seen a big fire in Lake Tahoe and I want to make sure that whoever is from there is alright.

yeah jonnys there but he lives on northshore.
the fires on southshore and its HUGE
we have smoke all over the place in reno, which is like 50 miles away
its burned like 2500 acres and destroyed like 250 houses and buildings :(

and yeah its getting huge sooo fast cause we had a hella dry winter. which normally id be happy, cause then i can ride more.

but theres the possiblity literally the entire southshore could go up :(

I heard about it, and damn it sucks. I also saw that you can see the smoke plumes from space. thats crazy. hope all you guys stay safe up there.

IT HAS GOTTEN FUCKING HUGE
its starting to spread across the sides of the lake, cause it jumped highway 89
theyre worried the entire southshore could go up
and now the winds kicked up and they have it 0% contained

when i read that post last night, i typed lake tahoe into google. Then i clicked news results. The few I read said that people were returning to their homes and that they had it like 40% contained or something. idk...

i typed that in the afternoon, when the wind kicked up and the fire was spreading REALLY fast and it got totally out of control
then thru the night the wind stopped blowing and it got a lot more controlled
like during the afternoon it looked like it was going to there was gonna be like a thunderstorm over my house, lke 50-75 miles away, there was so much smoke

so hear is the deal im ok everyone. i havnt been posting much lately because i have been staying at seans house which is really close to the fire. YES this hing is fucking huge. i knew tahoe had it coming with all these really dry years and hotter summers. i think its going to burn down to the lake. then stop. im not to sure. thanks for the concern everyone. im pretty sure they got a hold on it thoe because the smoke has cleared out. but i can still see it burning out the window of my house
