It's funny coming into this thread remembering the one years ago, and thinking about the people I put. Some are now the people at the top of my list for my favorite riders. Connor Davidson being one of those people. Threads like this are stupid, and just ruins a lot of good potential in riders. Everyone should really just respect everyone's riding. No matter how the fuck they ride. If they're doing it good, respect it. If they do something thats really fucked up, teach/tell them other ways. Don't just sit behind a computer and bitch about ----- do something and change shit.

Friendly is a name of a crew, not a description of us as people.
You're calling out a whole crew of riders. 25 deep. People who've paved the way for scooters in Australia, and the world in the past 10 years, and you have not a shred of respect for any of us. Your view on scooters as a whole fucking sucks dude. You're doing nothing to push the sport, just being happy with the mediocre state it's in now. Wake the fuck up.

Are you blind? Scootering is wonderful compared to when I started. We have companies no one saw existing before that are in the sport for the sake of the sport. We have legit crews, teams flown across the globe to do contests, etc. Mediocre? I don't think YOU respect the companies and people who've truly pushed scootering to where it is now. TSI, RAD, Proto, Tilt, fuck even Razor, Madd, Micro (and their respective teams) have done a LOT of work getting scootering to where it is
What does friendly even DO aside from photos and videos? Enlighten me. I probably am pissing off a lot of people right now but I'm legitimately wondering what friendly even does aside from photography and videos? Wheres the product? I'm not even trying to be condescending at all, this is a legitimate question. I'm not from Australia and I pay minimal attention to the scene regardless. Blunt/Envy/Apex/Madd/Downside come to mind when I think legit Aussie companies/teams

Rob, the thing about you is that you're very narrow minded and very obnoxious about it. You post whenever you can about your dissatisfaction towards things, it just isn't needed.
Scooting doesn't need to be over the top to be considered anything. Tech riding has its own set of skills required, a lot of it is beyond the tricks themselves. To class it as "boring" is just ignorance. It is a matter of opinion for the riding style people choose to do, but to be unappreciative of how others ride is simply rude.
As for Friendly, it's just a group. Contribution to the sport from them isn't their aim. It's the people in the group that DO contribute, ie storehands, magazine content providers etc.

Scootering is in a mediocre state, huge majority if riders are under 10 , the sport is currently being flooded with bullshit knockoff companies, and legit companies like tsi are struggling, and there has only even been one good actual DVDs , it seems like majority of riders are focusing on making the next shitty edit filmed in weeks, instead of something with real hard work being put into it. The immaturity in scootering right now is fucking bullshit

If anything, there should be more groups like friendly everywhere. They all chill and do what they love, whats wrong with that??? They actually do contribute to the scooting world by influencing other riders to ride street. They were actually part of the reason why I still do ride street and im sure other riders would say the same thing. So before commenting on something that is actually awesome, dont.
