Hello,
Have been thinking about this for a while now as im very close with the Legacy XS management they have said that if theres a good turn-out then they would hold a scooter competition, so i need a show of hands who from the U.K, Europe, other parts of the world would arrange to get down for the competition, im going to give it plenty of time till any dates because i need to make sure it is convenient for everyone. Basically i hope that ALL riders from the U.K will be attending i have an army of scooter nibblers at my local that are all going to turn up etc. not too sure on any run formats, dates etc. yet as this is a proposal to see whether the idea is worth doing, if there are enough people then it will definetly happen.

The skatepark isn't huge but its smooth as f*** and can fit loads of people thats not a problem.

I hope people from all over Europe will attend including: France and Switzerland im sure enough that Micro will have selected US team members get payed to come over and if any Razor members could try and get over it would be very much appreciated, accomodation is not a problem as i will hook any/everyone up with somewhere to stay, right well if i could get a show of hands of who would like a good U.K competition then please reply here. :)

Little advice for the format:
like i've seen some comps then those comps where two-three riders ride together at the same time - it sucks hardcore, because the judges may loose their total attention at riders.

I suggest:
a jam format, riders randomly selected into 3-4person groups, where each group has ~8 minutes for runs (if 4 riders per group): each rider has two 1-minute runs and last trick. That way each rider has total attention and plenty of time.

For example what should a group's sesh look like:
Terry 1st run
Martin 1st run
Eric 1st run
Terry 2nd run
Martin 2nd run
Eric 2nd run
Terry's last trick attempt(s)
Martin's last trick attempt(s)
Eric's last trick attempt(s)
End of group. Aplause. Next group please.

Pretty small park though, but give a short overview of some airports near it.

Sounds pretty good, jam format sounds good, any London airport, probably Gatwick i can pick people up from the airport or there is a train directly to "Benfleet" from a London station, but i dont expect anyone to have to deal with trains by themselves in a foreign country so ill pick anyone up i guesss !dodge

ok im defo gunna come if i can but obviously i can't say untill i have a date but ill try my hardest and you can assume ill be there

edit: all of the cardiff/newport riders/ any others get you arses there plus i think we should get some Estonians in on this!!!!

Ok, Benfleet, Essex. The website is www.legacyxs.com there is information on how to get to it on there, also ask me nearer the time if you need any help whatsover on getting there, Terry!

I know its far (well the other side of the world) but AUSTRALIANS are welcome! haha :)

Also, i would like some suggestions from anyone on a month to hold the competition as i want everyone to get a chance to come over to the U.K with enough notice, i want a really good turn-out of riders and anyone coming over we can drive to some sick skateparks and shizzle in the U.K and even hit up LONDON

So reply in this thread for any suggested dates, remember not to conflict with dates/months of other competitions such as:
- XW (July 14th)
- Montreux (April 22nd)
- TIC (Feb 24th)

etc.

Its not for sure, but theres no point having a U.S team if there not going to get them to travel around? :)

I dunno If I could Make It, Its sorta Close, But Id have 2 go 2 another country and stuff, and I dunno If I'd Have any way of Getting there, accommodation and the like. But If I had a Sure way of getting there and staying somewhere, then I would so be there.
