light bars are shit because they're either a) made of aluminum, or b) made of really thin steel, and both options a and b will break fairly easily. so get some seasoned scooters bars or something because you live in AUS.

haha thats not always true because the bars could be made out of 4130 chromoly witch is super strong and light its what they build the light bmx frames out of

most of the really light frames are made from japanese sanko steel.

the chromoly ones have tons of extra weight savings on them, like holes on the frame where there isn't alot of stress on the bike.
chromoly is still heavy compared to like aluminum and stuff.
