what u mean, round the edges? if you mean curving the corners of the rectangle i guess probably a dremel, but that would take a while depending how oval-shaped you want it to be. or just use a small hand saw to take away larger chunks in a curve. It looks pretty cool now anyways. i was thinking about doing something like that like a decplate, but i also was thinkingabout using a skateboard on the bottom of my deck to stop it from getting so worn from grinds.

Haha mark, I wouldn't be able to because I only have a kukk cruiser deckplate to use as a template.

And thanks thom.

And about the round edges, I was hoping that there is some kind of tool or bit for a drill that could round off the edge so it's the same all around. Dremel is possible, but it would take FOREVER and it would be very difficult to get it the same all around.

fi8nd a routering machine, it rounds wood to a certain ammount depending on what size the bit for it is. takes like 10seconds. dangerous machine.

it didnt take that long actually. I just traced my kukk cruiser plate onto the skate deck, added a quarter inch on both sides, and cut it out with a hand held jigsaw. then again used the plate to drill the holes and then countersunk them for a flushhh fit.

im not sure how i thought of it, i guess when i saw this thread i just thought of different possiblilities (that provided concave), and came up with this. haha

Sometime if i have the money, i want to try it with one of those ultralight skatedecks. that would reduce weight a ton.
