Its not shut down. Its a park right in the middle of the city... skateboarding is banned there. If you get caught they can take your board and give you like a $300 fine.

Yeah i wish it worked like that, i was downtown riding with some freinds and they stopped my skater friend and took his boarded then they tryed taking my scooter.....i was like Theres no signs around here soing no scooters so i figured i could. and that pissed the cops off and he said he will get signs up...Facking pigs
