yeah its so theres no tomk effect(the topcap digging into the bars and yadyadayada you know the rest)
Lmfao I'd retract that comment if I were you. When I said this, Tom called me all names under the sun for being so retarded. How would you cut through thick Chromoly with a bit of aluminium?

I thought this was some kid putting up Tom's fall to be funny, but Jon's riding is so smooth and sick.
Well now that you mention it.

Hope I don't get in trouble for that.

im pretty sure the bars snapped because he was going off a 20 stair and the part where its clamp has the clamp then the bars then shim then fork tube to reinforce it so thats why it broke at the topcap cuz the bars up top of that werent as strong as the bar below the topcap

and to all the people saying it wouldnt have happened to an scs yes i wouldve the bars would be really strong in the scs but above that they would be weak and snap of at the top of the scs

sorry for the paragraph but i just wanted to get that out there so you guys can think on that

Yesss. The weak points in SCS are pretty much EXACTLY the same as HIC.

It's basically the same exact thing. I think its more of a personal preference

Like if you want that cool knuckles buff thing about your scoot get scs.
But if you want a clean, crisp look for your scoot get hic.

They broke because there is a place on the bars without material. Without a slit the whole bar can take the impact instead of transferring all the energy to one weakened spot. A hole anywhere is going to make a weak spot.
