madd/blade brake

I'm going to order a blade brake off dogg scooters and wondering if i should get shorty or standard.
i want to know if theres any difference apart from the size of them( shorty being shorter .

erm well alot of people ride cut down blade brakes(shortys), but some people ride uncut. The reason why people cut them down is because it makes them stronger and stops them getting in the way as much, ive just cut mine down because i kept getting my foot caught on the brake when catching tailehips etc.

Shorty FTW. With the shorty you also get more contact clearence between the wheel and the brake since the piece on the standard ones hangs down more and hits the wheel before the piece on the shorty.

yeh its a bit less sensitive because it was kind of jerky before i cut it, but it is like 2 times more sensitive in fakie.

dude, ive ridden a shorty, and a standard one for almost a year with each.

there is NO difference apart from looks.

just go for what you think looks best
