does anyone in japan even ride scooters but it could be for there bmx team because they said they are getting one

But remember, Japan is like a whole other world. videos on youtube will be in Japanese so you won't be able to find anything. They usually get micros or JDRazors because thats all they can get hold of.
But there was a kid that used to post on here from Osaka who rode a micro....with a hello kitty sticker on the front. :3
