Madd gear signature/team edition general discussion

Okay it's simple, Just discuss what you like about it and what you don't like about it.

If there's anything you recommend people change and etc, it's like MGP general discussion

ok people worried about the bars, all you do is cut them down and make 1 slit. and sorry to say if you are tall and need the height, i'd suggest going to mgp 2 piece bars, they seem to be better than the sig bars imo.
Any part failures are to be sent in to: parts @ maddgear.com (no spaces)mary will tell you what to do and include pics.
my personal opinion on the sig is its overall just great, good balance, good weight/weight distribution and most the parts dont need replacing, im still running stock headset and all. grips are form a different world of good, i dont like the bars for 2 reasons too heavy and not wide enough and i dont like the triple clamp for the fact it basically makes the slits have to be longer which in term weakens the bars. the look to me is much nicer on the eyes.

Okay billie but

i cut them down so there is no slits, but i need to know about making them.

to i put 2 in the front and back or just one in the front? or do i put 2 on the side or just one on the side?

That's all i need to know and it's a small question so i won't ask mary

Legit.
My mate bent the bars, not the crossbar, he bent the downtube sideways.

1 slit only in the back where the clamp will be.
and yeah the griptape deal is pretty fucked but you get shit like that riding in the rain

All round good scooter, but for the love of GOD please change the design to a normal headtube size... it solves the last problem.

isnt that a good thing so then you can put some real griptape on it

the grip tape seems fine to me also local riders have the bamf stuff on there still going better then the MGP grip or any razor grip tape to date

thee brakes ae nice as raw & also better shorter way more solid with no rattle

the bars well comments above have spoken but we have a idea for inforcement option which only would add 100grams of weight also is a do your self mod with material from bunnings, it doesnt make them bullet proof but will indeed improove the strenght of the sig bars more info soon, oh even with the reinforcement u need cut the slits off to make 1 new one on the back is best option, how ever the madd gear have changed the bars with only 1 slit in future also heard 22wide cross bar so riders can cut 23in high down & 22in wide to the sizers there after

over all i think the Sig model is tops only downside to it is the bars at this stage

i love the short headtube, makes my forks longer and strengthens my bars cause they were cracked bad since i got them and hasnt done a thing and slits are where i break bars. gotta go threadless man

^this

I hate big headtubes, All it does is make your deck a little higher off the ground, And if you only get one cause you cant stand the scrape, harden up the scrape is what makes it scooting. You know the scrape that happens when you come down a ramp? that one xD
