buy a new a and just like use parts from it over time, cuz unless u make a bunch of mods, dont ride it. pretty much dont ride new a's at all lol.

It's easy to make a brake, you just need the right stuff.
If you don't have the right stuff it would be easier to get a new one from a cheap scooter,...
I cannt tell you right know to make it best, cause I've to test my break for a time before I can tell you if it's any good.
I took a aluminium, 13cm x 3cm x 0.8cm
At my first model I just drilled a hole which made it impossible to use the feather ..
So my new model is going to be with two extra plates which are the link to the (screw)Axle of the break and gives the feather space to stay in.
But you also have to bend the alu-> get it in the oven and make it as hot as possible then hammer it to bend it, there are many different ways to do this, ...
If my break is working, I'll post it in the forum, but that will take me 3 weeks cause I'll writing an examen in 3 weeks and have to learn.

AHHHH NOO. Ive spent hours trying to figure out how to make a brake, the best concept was to take a 1 1/8" diameter steel pipe, bend it hard, then somehow cut it into two parts, and finally drill through the end of it fo make space for the brake pin. This design is shitty though, and I don't know if it's possible to bend a pipe that hard.

What Im really trying to think of is how to make a good brake system without having to drill through the main structure of the deck, which is what severy decreases it's strength. Most, if not all of the Razor decks (when I still rode them) broke at the dropouts below the brake pin hole.

im sure you can but curved pipe somewhere just take that and cut it

Lol, actually, making scooter parts in Europe sucks ass. We have no cro-moly pipes available anywhere and, as various parts have american measurement sizes, I don't think Ill be making a fork soon because there's no way Im getting a 1 1/8" inch pipe. Of course, I could order some from the US, but that's not the point...Jordan said:
