Making a pro-model headtube angle vertical?

How do you change the headtube angle on a pro-model so it's completely vertical? I wanna do this without welding of course. I also have a spare old A headtube if that helps?

Thanks.

Loose the bolt in front top and get a bigger bolt and put that behind the neck. Idn if old A and pro necks have any differences when it comes to the lower edges, but you can test it which goes lower.

I'd still recommend to weld, much safer and ultimately solid. Just like i did with my old-A deck and pro neck.

Holy shit Madis, you're a genious. I used to have a 3/8" (bigger) through the head tube and a 5/16" (smaller) behind the neck. So I switched them like you said and it sooo close to vertical now. Thanks a lot.

Who needs a brake for fakies?!
By the way, i don't use that cruiser for tricks, maybe except hang-5s across the streets.

Brakeless would be more dangerous for going forward, if you're going fakie it would slow you down, but not totally lock up the wheel.

i got a brake bolt in the front and a 7/16 bolt behind

What?

that doesnt seem like it would hold up after like 1 tailwhip.

i remember seeing somewhere that someone drilled a hole in the headtube so that they could slip a bolt in the and it was at about a right angle.

check the your scooter thread, it's in there somewhere.

Exactly opposite way. When you're brakeless and going forward, then the back wheel might lock and skid.
But if you ride brakeless and fakie, then the wheel will lock and it'll not skid - it'll throw you over your back.

Im with Alex on this one. If you hit the brake going fakie you go flying backwards, if theres no brake and you shoe hits it the wheels just going to slow down, if your putting alot of pressure on it, it might be a different story though

What I'm saying is the if you're going forward your foot can get sucked in between the wheel and the deck, but going backwards it'll slow you down and maybe lock up, but it's not as likely.

Think of on a bike. If you put your foot in the front wheel behind the fork it'll lock the front wheel up but if you put it in front of the fork it'll just slow the wheel down.

Dudes, have you even ride brakeless scooters? Because i have ridden a brakeless Micro for 7-8 months, and i know clearly what i'm talking about.

haha yeah, i know what alex means and its pretty logical but its not like that.. as there is big speeds while doing fakie and if you have no brake and youre feet will touch it then YOU will fall..

and riding ski without no brake = pain, i couldnt do a shit without my foot getting stuck on wheel ) so if you do fakie while being ski, youre dead, im also dead with ski fakie with brake but o hwell ;D

btw enough of offtopic, i have no idea how this thread turn into brake vs nonbrake
