Not true. You can't overdose on it. It's physically impossible. You are also WAY less likely to develop a cancer from it, because the substances in pot actually encourage aging cells to die faster, whereas tobacco prevents them, thus causing a tumour. It is infinitely better for you than cigarettes or alcohol.
if you smoke 800 joints you can die, from carbon monoxide.... lolz
but i dont want it to be legalized because it will be harder to get for the younger people to get like cigarettes or beer or anything and probably wouldnt be as good as the shit now.
and there would be a tax
I heard you can die if you smoke an impossible amount in very little time, lol.

...yea and you would end up dying because you arent inhaling oxygen.
Everryone saying that it's less dangerous than alcohol or tobacco is obviously right, but think about this: There's absolutely no way that if those two substances were just introduced, that the government would have legalized them. But once they legalize it, they can't really take it away again. That's what they're scared of with pot (which is stupid).
This. I've seen cops blazing on their breaks lmao.
Obviously it's still illegal here but the most I've ever seen a cop do is confiscate. They don't give tickets or anything.
Even when they come to the skateparks that reek of weed 24/7, they're only there for helmet checks haha.
Thats the issue, unlike beer (fermentation, flavoring ect) which takes lots of effort and skill, almost anyone can grow their own marijuana, eliminating the tax revenue
I never even said weed just popped up last year. I'm saying that with all this new knowledge about chemicals and how they affect the human body, if alcohol were to just be introduced, there is absolutely no way they would legalize it. Pot on the other hand, if it were just discovered, it would be more than likely that they legalize it. One of the main reasons they don't is because it's just been illegal for so long that it would require effort to change the legal status of it. And it really doesn't seem like the government likes effort.this is false. its not like weed just popped up last year. people have been smoking marijuana just as long if not longer than people have been drinking and using tobacco. and ever heard of a little thing called prohibition?
weed isnt 100% safe, if you have existing mental problems, it can mess with brain chemicals which can make it worse at times but no way to tell if you are safe from it but it wont kill you. its not legal for the reason that pharmaceutical companies cannot patent and profit from it so its not considered as a viable medicine. the way Canada works with weed is the best way, you can pretty much smoke it in public and they only go looking for big time dealers leaving others safe to use at their own risk
