pete don't say just because you dont have TIC you cant do half of those tricks he can do. thats just stupid, there are riders from fucking australia who have never been 2000 miles within TIC and can do all of those tricks and more
No shit sir, I don't even have a boxjump or a flyout to learn tricks. But back on topic:

really whoevers putting down this video, dont because its a good fucking video

if you dont like the song then just turn the volume off
this video was just as good if not better than josh youngs video pete
i dont get how josh young tries harder? youve never ridden with either of these kids im guessing sooo i dont see how you can say that
honestly just dont post a whole fucking paragraph just beating down a kids video while the video was really fucking good
You guys need to differ a VIDEO, the RIDING, and the TRICKS.
TRICKS were awesome, still not many people do triple whip backflips or 360 tuck big boxes.
RIDING was ok, good tricks but the style is a bit sloppy. Matt might become one of the best park riders out there if he only cleans up a bit. The consistency in the competition clip is noteworthy, but you don't see it in the other clips.
VIDEO was not good, the music, filming, editing, the obvious goof with the format and not showing the riders full abilities.

alright i've ridden with matt a couple times, and he is beastly consistant, and can do all of those tricks, over spines, boxes, channels, in airs, and hell prolly down stair sets if he wanted to, or could even find good enough street for it. what im trying to say is a video doesnt define a rider, matt is crazy as hell, but he didnt have a lot of time to film for that video im guessing, cuz there is no way in hell thats the best stuff he can do.

Fine. The 'trying harder' part is not to 'have no time for filming', not to use throwaway footage, not to 'show half of the riders abilities'. It takes to find someone who's a good filmer (yes, that's what you should do if you REALLY want your video to be good), or at least someone who knows how to handle a camera, and you either need to learn to edit and SPEND SOME TIME trying to make your video GOOD or either find someone else to do that (which wouldn't be hard, plenty of people is into hardcore video editing). And you need to CHOOSE your footage wisely, and TAKE SOME TIME when making the video. Don't just use some footage you got, make sure it's the best of you and it's enough to make a good video out of it. Look at the pros: Coedies last video has footage from a year or more of his riding. Terry's minivid, a milestone in scootering history took 3 DAMN YEARS to finish, just because it's creator wanted it to feature only the best clips so he could put everyone's jaws on the floor. And it did. And it still does, and probably will for another few years from now.
THIS is called COMMITMENT.
However, this only applies to you if you really want to make a good video. If not, do not expect everyone to tell you that your video is awesome. For instance, I say it's bad.
I guess that scootering has already gone beyond the point where all the videos are good, just because it's scootering and everyone is happy that there's one more rider in the community. And it is time for people to realize that.
