post some tips here for fellow media creators...this can be website design, video, photo, whatever. i got 2

a great freeware program for designing websites (i used it for www.pointblankscooters.cjb.net) is called Nvu (www.nvu.com) It's pretty good and you can code in notepad and tweak it in Nvu or the other way around

for video production in general...i get videomaker the magazine and it is great. it has reviews, tips, articles, and a lot more stuff to help video creators thoughout production. it's really cheap for a yearly subscription check out www.videomaker.com

If your going to sharpen a photograph in photoshop unsharpen mask is the best way.

First click Image > Mode > Lab colour
Then change click the channel tab (should be next to the history tab) and change it to 'Lightness'.

Now click Filter > Sharpen > Unsharpen mask

Now for the values, if your just posting something on the internet (around 72dpi) then use:
Amount: 70-90%
Radius: 1
Threshold: 1

If you are making bigger prints (300dpi ish) then use:
Amount: 150-200%
Radius: 2
Threshold: 2-20

Then you can convert it back to RGB colour or whatever.

It seems like a lot of work to sharpen a photo but its worth it and should only take a few seconds after you've done it a few times..
