Meet Team Fuzion riders and be in a commercial!

The shoot went great and all our riders had some great stuff caught on camera- the commercial should look great when it debuts in a few weeks!

Just FYI, the call for extras was just that- for extras. It was meant for locals who wanted to come out and test new product and be in the background of the new Nextsport commercial. Everyone had the same opportunity to step up and be selected to star in the commercial however Dakota, Frank and Christian were the most prominent of the applications.

I would encourage you all to do the same however it seems that many of you are biased without reason- if you ask of of our riders we are on top of all Team Fuzion operations so long as you take the initiative to get a hold of us. With as many riders and initiatives as we have we can't oversee every single one but we're more than willing to answer any questions or solve any problems if you reach out.

! Would have been cool to have had you on location and I think the boss man would have been okay with you wearing an SR shirt. It's too bad- Dakota and Frank can attest to the fact that they had some killer sessions before and during the shoots!

I'll try and get some video up over the next few weeks- all the stuff I had taped on a handheld between takes. Some new tricks were invented over the weekend and Frank's got the double whips down on the NX.

Office phone hasn't changed and it's still the same number as on the card. PM me if you want and I can confirm the number.

Andrew, You should have been there. They took us to Walnut Creek and Berkley Skatepark. Berkley is the most fun park I have ever ridden. Then at night we all scootered (street at Fishermans Wharf), in San Francisco until 11 at night , then scootered to the train back to the hotel. It was a fun trip. Nextsport's R/D dept was crazy, I'd get killed if I ever talked about what we seen. I can't wait for the future with these guys. Cause what's coming will blow everyone's mind! Thanks Darren for the invite. Kota

sick im glad you guys had fun. At some point I plan on making a fuzion vid to get on bronze or silver.

Fuzions are scooters. What is it that everyone hates about Fuzions? I don't get why the big deal. Don't ride them. Where is team Razor? or any other team. Does Razor advertise on SR? Do they get their team riders assoc deals? NO! Team Fuzion is really the only pro team out there. Riders get money every month, we fly to events and our expenses are paid. Frank and I just filmed a national commercial and we got a big check for doing what we like. Frank has more money for college classes and I can buy a bunch of Freshpark ramps. We rode our two wheelers at parks in SF that I would probably never have ever rode. We are all going over seas shortly to ride. Who else does that for their riders. I think if people want to get mad, get mad at the companies that make you buy their rides. I know most of you will hate me for saying what I believe, but it's wrong to keep slamming Nextsport, they have stepped up when other companies are nowhere to be found. Kota

i think Kota should take the cock outa his ass and smell the fresh air and not the bullsit fuzion brought into this sport. Razor bought scootering where it is now.. how so you ask? well they did make the 1st trick scooters if i may be right. meet team fuzion??? how about meet razor scooter riders who can handle 2 more wheels.

Nextsport is a GREAT company. They are exactly what people are looking for in a sponsor and I personally think what they are doing for their team is really amazing. Props to them for sure with that.

But, they are NOT scooters. Their name itself is trying to indicate that they are trying to make a connection between scooters and skateboards. People should be able to call them skateboards just as easily as scooters? No. They are their own invention; they are unique. They deserve to have their own name, fuzion, and to have their own competitions and whatnot. They do not sponsor people for riding 2-wheeled razor-style scooters, which is too bad really. They are a great sponsor, but I think the majority of people here on SCOOTERresource who may be looking for a sponsor, would be looking for one who would sponsor them for riding a, you guessed it, scooter.

Matt, your 99% right, I don't think they are trying to compete head to head with 2 wheelers. When we filmed the commercial we did a lot of footage going down big hills carving. Its what they were made for. Just being involved with them I have seen a different side than most people are seeing. And you know every where we go we get to ride our 2 wheelers, not once have they ever said don't ride them. I got to ride with all you guys in NY because I came for a Fuzion contest. The 1% wrong is they are scooters, they have a deck, handle bars and wheels. But your right on everything else. I just get mad because I don't think they are trying to stop you guys from riding your scooters. And having them sponsoring may some day make other companies step up. That's why we all show up and compete, if only one person showed up, it wouldn't be any fun. It's fun to beat someone at riding, I say let them compete. If they lose they lose. If they win they win. Just let them ride. Kota
