metal cores and bearings

ok so i got some reds bearings and i want to put them on my metal cores how do i do it. if tried to get it off with a flat head screw driver

hahahahahahaha sorry just use your strength, or buy one of those bearing puller things they are so good, BTW what metal cores do you have?

meh, lay the wheel on it's side ontop of two bricks on either side of the bearings(not touching) then shove a screwdriver through the topside and whack it with an effin hammer for a while.

Anyway, i wouldn't bother, even basic abec 5s run better than reds. i rode reds for a year then started riding 7s and it felt soooo much better. Next time buy swiss =]

I hammered my bearings in my Eagle Sport metal core but that's probably not the smartest idea.

best way is a BEARING TOOL, NOT A SCREW DRIER SCREW DRIVER WILL WRECK YOUR BEARINGS,

Also with metal cores it is suggested u insert on side at a time, & indeed as other user wrote bearing machine/vice is the easyest way

another way is to sit both bearings on side of hub & put a front wheel axle & tighten it up
