where do you get the skis or do you just get them of skis
old thread but good question.

They are custom-made skis. It's all welded with pipes and plates on it, it's all heavy and was made by my friend.

Ok ive never heard of Snow scoots before so yeah, but from what ive seen in those pics, it looks pretty kool, i want too make one, but i live in aus, aus=no snow. Lol, could try it on the sand dunes at the beach :p. but yeah, thats one pretty kool looking snow-scooter

lol, instead of making it metal on the bottom, or like ski's you could just take an old skateboard(we could use one of mine if you wanted :p) and then just mount it underneath and onto the forks but if you want steering, make a cut in the deck, between where the front under the foldy starts, to where the forks end. and carve the edges of the cut into a rounded edge so you can do barspins and shiz

skateboards don't slide well at all. I guess you could glue or fasten a piece of crazy carpet to it though to make it go faster...

or you could just sand it down. me and thursto arent talking about using it for snow scoots, were thinkin of like grassboarding(people might not have done that) and for sand dunes n shit..

What the hell?I've never seen such a thing. Or heard about it lol. I should make a water scooter. Lol. 2 floats the the sides.

True.

Appearantly bumping an old thread without any constructive critisism or a question is a crime.
I'm not mad at him, i'm just confused that an 12-year old kid has a lack of respect for others, so i'm just gonna temp-ban him for braking rules #1, #2, #4, #5, #11 and #16 caused by one short reply.
