Mfx in depth review

ive been riding one for about 2 weeks now.

I definitely agree with everything about the rails, i lock in so well with everything and have been learning new tricks like whip to bs board and stuff i never really did before. On boxes and such, i didnt have too much of a problem with slipping out but that could have just been me. I ride fs pegs but even without the peg on bs grinds i never really had a problem slipping out. Smiths are not the best tho. The front dropouts are not covered and it just isnt that great, i either slipped out or i didnt slide well. no comment on nose blunts cuz i dont have fat enough coping on any of my boxes.

When it comes to non grinding tricks it really depends i guess. ive never been a whippy flippy kinda guy so i cant comment on that. I rode thresholds for 2 years before this and got very used to whips and the occasional bri. I could triple 3 double and other whip tricks pretty easily on that. This deck feels very similar to a thresh, so if you are used to these tricks on a bigger deck, you wont have a problem, coming from something smaller, may take some time to get used to.

I dont know how long the deck will last. the welds seem decent but not amazing, Ive been riding it pretty hard in this time and everythging is still good about it so im sure it will last a decent while

The 2 things i dont like about the physical deck are 1) the back axle and spacers. The axle is kinda cheap and the spacers that come with it are for mgp wheels which are a different width then everyother wheel. im riding sliders and had to rig up like 3 washers on each side just to make it not jingle around when its fully tightened. 2) the brake blows. id rather just have a metal flex fender like tsi but idk how you would even go abvout changing it but its whatever, gets the job done.

all in all, i like it alot. Im def trying new grinds with it and its helping, and it looks better than most mgp decks. 7/10

The welds look like semen actually. You can tell a 6 year old in a factory did it because they look terrible lml

Madd Gear tend to include parts on their products that are most compatible with their own other parts, like the spacers you mentioned. They did it with their dirt scooters too, i can't remember the exact measurements but neither of the two tire sizes were the standard size, so if you popped a tire you pretty much had to get them to send you a new one.
