MGP brake wont budge

on my 2010 team edition.... took of the single screw that goes in the hole under the griptape. the brake cartrage should just slide out but it wont budge. ive literately hammered it and it wont move. i need a new brake so bad the one i have now is so fucked up. any tips?

I think you are in deep shit sir, but seriously I have no clue how to fix it i had the same problem with my phantom brake for my aos.

get a flat head, and hit down the side of the deck onto the little hold, that should bend the flaps in, then you just need to full like shit

The axle for the brake MIGHT have worn a little socket for itself in the deck (it did for mine) take a pliers and try to slide the axle side to side as you pull it out... Might help to put the brake or deck in a vice or have a friends hold it

OR take a bolt cutter or jig saw and cut the brake axle if you don't need that brake system anymore
