MGP Deck Changes

First, I would like to say that this is my first post, so go easy on me. I've been lurking here for a while as a guest, so I thought I'd join and see how it goes.

Introductions aside, I have a question. I have been riding a heavily modified Razor A2 stock setup for a long time, but recently, it broke on me. So I'm buying a custom one from BaysideBlades. I have all my other parts picked out, but I'm debating on the deck.

I do not want a folding one, so the choice is either the MGP or the Razor Ultra pro. I would rather get the MGP, but I have to know something. How different is it in terms of weight and length from a typical Razor? Would it be difficult to transfer my tricks onto one? I don't want it to be too heavy because I am a very lightweight individual. Thank you for the help, and please inform me if I can improve my posts at all.

Try and look around. I know I live in the UK. But I would look around at parts. Mabey buy either a Razor or Madd. Ultra Pro's are good, even though what everyone has said. And I have never ridden a MGP! But I know that if you look around and use a few stores you could save some money, than buying a complete from BaysideBlades! And plus if you buy parts you understand how it all works. Sorry if this is too much! Haha.

Madd gear pro is longer than the ultra pro, and slightly heavier, and expensive due to shipping (~$121 to Nj)
The ultra pro is one of the lightest decks you can get, and is also cheaper

you can get madd gear pro decks from SOA.
I personally switched FROM Ultra pros, to a Madd gear. It's probably one of the best choices i've ever made. I didn't lose a single trick. But if you insist on a light deck, the ultra will probably last somewhat long.

Madd gear feels like it will last forever.


Also, your posting is rather nice compared to many users here, everything spelled correctly and punctuated. Welcome to Scooter Resource
