Micro XT = Awesome!

A few weeks ago I finally put together a new scooter. The only problem was that it had the new Razor Pro deck, I ended up snapping it in half and went through two of these decks within one week. I was SOL until I decided to set up a new scooter using my Micro XT deck. I got one of the original test model's back in '08 and I had about 1 hour total time on it.
It was a piece of shit, zero offset forks, heavy as shit etc.

Anyways I slapped on my inward bars, forks, 100mm Eagles, and an FSA pig and went out and rode it.... not much improvment from the stock scooter but I had no other choice. After riding it for a couple hours straight I starting getting use to the beast, and by the end of the day the beast was tamed.... I suggest riding the XT and putting up with it for a full day to get used to it. It's amazing! multiple whips (above a dub) are out of the question but I've been going bigger than ever because I know it's not going to break it's a F.u.ckin tank. expect my next part to be filmed using the XT!

The new XT's are horrible, I'm not sure if they're still producing them. The new ultra pro's look horrible also. If you have an XT use it or save it. most def worth something!!!

XT's are good after you make it... not an XT anymore. I ride one now and like it a lot but it's full PROTO with a custom integrated headtube at my angle, cut drop outs, cut brake and perforated deck and brake. Significantly lighter and easier to ride. I trippled it in NY and it has taken a serious beating and still going strong. Keep in mind it took roughly 8-10 hours of modding one day but I think it was worth it if you have access to the tools to do it.

Hell yea Eric. Micro sent me an old XT for a review on Inside Scooters. That thing was beastly. But in an hour outside in the front, I could flat dub it, and flat fing it. But its so sick to be able to ride something...and just go balls to the wall and KNOW it wont snap and shiit.

And dude above me. Eric was never whip whore status..lol So his ridic style wont suffer at all. He's just going to be going harder now.

I'm sorry, but I still don't like it. Also Ostrom, the 08 model has the old model headtube, wich is more weak than the new ones. I've seen noobs breaking the headtube. If you want a fully strong XT, then you should order the new headtube from the micro shop

I've seen two of the new XT's in Montreux like 2 weeks ago and the ones they had seemed to be really strong. They had thick plates (around 5-6mm) like Micro Bullets but coming out of the deck.
I hope it's going to be better than the first one (like Madis had).

i was thinking about doing that cause i cant ride street AT ALL with the razor pro decks, after the deck i have now breaks im thinking im gonna try the xt deck i got from awhile ago again

the xt is so much nicer for riding street and going big but the stock headtube breaks so easy.

ive had my deck for four days and snapped the headtube clean off.

I made a custom 1/8" thick steel headtube for my XT. I couldn't break the thing if i tried. It is a little heavy, but I think that's a good thing.
